  Cygnum enter the frame in London

Macroom based manufacturers, Cygnum have entered the frame in the British housing market. The company has just signed a deal with developer Nicholas King Homes Ltd to supply the total timber frame complement to a 125-apartment complex in the upmarket St. Albans area of London.
The move overseas was made to counter declining activity in the Irish construction industry, and was preceeded by the appointment of Director of Sales in the UK, Stuart Scott six months ago.

  A Home from Home - in Timber Frame!

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is soon to move into its brand new state-of-the-art daycare and respite centre in Blackrock, Co Dublin. This 3,000 square metre facility - which encompasses 11 bedrooms, as well as care, office and training facilities - was originally conceived in brick and block by award winning London-based architects Niall McLaughlin Architects, but was changed to timber frame for financial reasons.
